Baku. Kamala Guliyeva – APA. Baku Music Academy expressed its opinion on the release of the disc of Azerbaijani songs as Armenian songs in New York. Head of legal department of Copyright Agency Khudayat Hasanli told APA it was confirmed that the disc produced by “Traditional Grossroad” company contained over ten Azeri folk and composers’ songs, and Azerbaijani instruments were used while performing them.

This time Armenians attempted to misappropriate folk dances “Innabi”, “Khan chobani”, “Shalakho”, Uzeyir Hajibayov’s “”Chirpinirdin Gara deniz”, “Gedin-gedin gaziya deyin” in the operetta “O olmasin, bu olsun”, Emin Sabitoglu’s “Daglar”, Alibaba Mammadov’s “Gozeller ichre sen ey mahi-pare bir denesen”, “Mukhalif dilkesh” mugham, such national instruments as kamancha, ud, nagara, gaval, balaban, tutek and ney.

Khudayat Hasanli said questionnaire would be sent to “Traditional Grossroad” company. Discussions are being held with Foreign Ministry. After that measures for protecting copyright of the disc will be determined.

Copyright Agency received the disc through Foreign Ministry in August this year.
