The European Union Delegation to Azerbaijan will organize a trip to Brussels next week for heads and representatives of religious confessions in the country, the delegation head, Kestutis Jankauskas, said on Wednesday, APA reported.
He noted that head of seven religious confessions will join the trip that will take place on September 25-28.
Within the framework of the visit, several meetings will be held in EU institutions and NATO.
Jankauskas said that Azerbaijan is a country known for its religious tolerance and deep traditions. "These values are very important to us. We want to develop relations in this field. I believe this visit will play a positive role in this regard,” he added.
