Caucasian Muslims Board to open representations abroad

According to Hidayat Orujov, freedom of religion has always been ensured in Azerbaijan.
â€œTolerance has existed in Azerbaijan since the ancient times. We can serve as an example to some countries in the area of tolerance,â€ he said.

He underlined that under the decree issued by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on July 1, on the enactment of amendments and annexes to the law â€œOn freedom of religionâ€, the representations of the Caucasian Muslims Board will be established in the countries densely populated by Azerbaijanis.
â€œThese representations will be financed by the state, they will deal with the solution of moral-religious problems of our compatriots, help them,â€ he said.
