Azerbaijan State Committee for Religious Associations comments on a group of religious personsâ€™ attempt to hold action outside Education Ministry

The Committeeâ€™s press service told APA that the views expressed at the unauthorized action held outside the Education Ministry on May 6 do not reflect the position of the religious persons of the country.
â€œThe demands concerning hijab are groundless, because there is no ban on hijab in Azerbaijan. It is absurd to regard the wearing of uniforms at secondary schools as ban on hijab. Prevention of this action, like all unauthorized actions, is normal. Being a religious man does not give ground to violate the laws.â€
