New synagogue is built in Azerbaijanâ€™s capital

He said that the construction works which began on October 27 last year have been finished.

â€œA beautiful synagogue was constructed under the auspices of President Ilham Aliyev. There are a big praying hall, dining-room, library and administrative rooms in three-floored buildingâ€, said Ikhilov.

The synagogue is being supplied with necessary equipments and furniture. Ikhilov says the official opening of the synagogue will be held after 3-4 weeks.

Note that the new synagogue is constructed instead of the synagogue in the territory of Winter Boulevard which will be built in Baku. After the new synagogue will be put in commission, the previous synagogue will be destroyed.
