Regional kade of Caucasian Muslims Office dismissed

The reason of his dismissal was that Sattarov defended arrested representatives of Azerbaijan Islamic Party â€“ Dayanat Samadov and Firdovsi Mammadrzayev. That is, after arrest of these persons there was held an event in Guba Region Executive Power. Along with leadership of Executive Power, representatives from other government agencies, the State Committee for Work with Religious Associations, as well as local intellectuals attended the event. All speakers at the meeting condemned the actions of Samadov and Mammadrzayev. But Haji Naib Sattarov defended them. He even said about Mammadrzayev â€œhe’s my brotherâ€. His speech caused dissatisfactory.

A week later, Haji Naib was summoned to the CMO and dismissed from the post.

Spokesman for the CMO Rahima Dadasheva confirmed the fact to APA. However, she noted that Sattarov was not fired. He resigned from his post with own petition: â€œHe asked to release him from the post due to the fact that he suffers from diabetes".
