Baku. Ramil Mammadli – APA. How can the persons, causing the young girls to wear hijab, speak about any human freedom and law? This is only a problem to bring confusion in the country. Azerbaijani state has to demonstrate its will on this problem, chairperson of Azeri-Turkish Women Union Tanzila Rustamkhanli told APA. She noted that, she was against the young girls’ wearing hijab: “This is an ordered action, young girls’ wearing hijab at schools is a problem of persons, intending to prevent the development of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani woman left the hijab 100 years ago”.

She also noted that, this was a political act and we had to prevent this. Each girl determines her position at the mature age. Generally, Turkish woman has never worn hijab. Women have used the silk kerchief as veils in former times.

According to Head of Women’s Rights Defense Center named after D.Aliyeva, human rights activist Novella Jafaroglu, even in Iran, most of the women don’t wear hijab: “Women in Iran use headscarf. Koran al Karim requests to cover shame. Head is not a shame”.

She also noted that, young girls’ wearing hijab by their parents, is the violation of woman rights.
