He added that after the collapse of the Soviet Union, properties of the 2,032 collective farms and state farms were distributed among citizens.
“The reforms were partially carried out in only 41 farms ad they were left to the disposal of the Ministry of Agriculture. The target is to maintain and further develop achievements, seed and livestock. Reforms have not been carried out in three farms. One of these is a farm named after Sabir in Shamakh and we have started reforms there. There is objective rationale behind non-implementation of the reform in the other two farms – Gazimammad Farm in Gusar and Mugtadir Farm in Khachmaz. The Settlement of Gazimammad is located on the border with Russia and the Caspian Sea Shipping Company owns plots of land in the village of Mugtadir. We have offered proposals for these two areas. For example, there are 1,600 hectares of land in this village. We propose to give 800 hectares to the Caspian Sea Shipping Company and distribute the rest 800 hectares among residents. /APA-Economics/
