“As a country suffering from landmines, Azeerbaijan has always kept the issue of landmines as a threat to peace on the international agenda”, Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov said at a press conference on the results of 2023, APA reports.
The minister said that Azerbaijan conducted active humanitarian diplomacy.
“During the year, Azerbaijan continued its works of informing international organizations about the threat of landmines. At the same time, keeping the matter of searching for missing persons on the international agenda was continued at a high level”, the minister added.
