"Within the framework of the working visit, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will get an opportunity to discuss all important issues on the agenda of bilateral relations," Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Ilia Darchiashvili told journalists, APA's bureau in Georgia reports.
It has been noted that the roles of both countries in the provision of peace and stability in the region will be discussed at the meeting.
"Today, we expect a working visit of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to Georgia. As you know, Georgia and Azerbaijan enjoy close strategic partnerships, close neighborhood relations. Within the framework of the visit, the Georgian Prime Minister and Azerbaijani President will get an opportunity to discuss all important issues on the agenda of our bilateral relations. There are large-scale issues related to our bilateral relations and today's working visit will be an opportunity for discussion of these issues. Another important issue, which will be discussed, is how the two countries should provide peace and stability in our region on the background of regional challenges, and all issues in multilateral formats existing on the background of regional challenges," noted Georgian FM.
