“Armenia should know that it is not the statement of any supporter of Armenia that keeps us in a frame, but our own policy,” said President Ilham Aliyev in his speech at the event organized in Shusha on the occasion of Victory Day, APA reports.
The president stressed that we are not afraid of anyone, and do not refrain from anyone: “If we were afraid of anyone, we would never start the Second Karabakh War. Each of us was going to death. Either freedom or death! Now we are ready to go to death demanding our rights. Because although the war ended two years ago- there are concerning moments and I want to say my word by addressing to Armenian people. They are now seeing the pain of these thirty years of occupation. They see now what the occupation is, what the loss is. We just responded them, we fought in our own lands, and we expelled invader from our lands. They should understand this so they don't fall victim again to the constituencies sitting abroad who want to treat this region as a playground. We have the main voice here, we have the main power here.”
