The “Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies between the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Communications of the Republic of Iraq” which was signed on December 7, 2023 in Baghdad, was approved, APA reports.
The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a Decree in this regard.
After the Memorandum of Understanding which was specified in Part one of this Decree enters into force, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall ensure the implementation of its provisions. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall inform the Government of the Republic of Iraq that the intrastate procedures necessary for the Memorandum of Understanding entering into force have been completed.
