Agreement on the mutual allocation of annual education quotas between the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan has been approved, APA reports.
President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree to this effect.
According to the decree, once the agreement enters into force, the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan shall ensure the implementation of its provisions, while the Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall notify the Government of Tajikistan that the domestic procedures necessary for the agreement's entry into force have been completed.
The agreement was signed in Baku on May 21, 2026.
