President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order on providing financial assistance to the religious organizations, APA reports.
Under to the Order, from the reserve fund of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan provided for in the 2024 state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan to provide financial assistance to religious organizations in Azerbaijan, the Caucasus Muslim Board was allocated AZN 2,0 (two) million, the Baku-Azerbaijan Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church - AZN 350,000 (three hundred and fifty thousand), the Religious Community of Mountain Jews in Baku - AZN 350,000, the Baku Religious Community of European Jews - AZN 350,000, the Apostolic Prefecture of the Catholic Church of Azerbaijan Republic - AZN 350,000, the Albanian-Udi Christian religious community of Azerbaijan Republic - AZN 350,000, and AZN 350,000 - to the Moral Values Promotion Fund under the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan in order to financially support other non-Islamic religious communities.
