"We, as two leaders, are strengthening and consolidating the friendship and fraternal relations between our countries and peoples," President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said in a joint press statement with Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili in Tbilisi on October 8, APA reports.
Emphasizing that traditional meetings serve the purpose of bringing our countries closer to each other and making our peoples closer to each other, the head of state said: "For centuries, our peoples have lived in conditions of friendly neighborliness and friendship, and this is still the case today. This is important for both our countries, and at the same time, it is a very important condition for the region, including, first of all, for the South Caucasus."
