Azerbaijani Defense Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov has sent a message of condolences to Kazakhstan’s Defense Minister Lieutenant General Dauren Kosanov, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry’s Press Service told APA.
“I was deeply saddened by the news that nine servicemen fell into the sea and died, one was injured, and seven went missing during exercises in the Caspian Sea. I pray for the souls of those who lost their lives in the tragic accident, share the grief of their loved ones, and extend my deepest condolences to their families. I wish the injured serviceman a speedy recovery. I hope that the search and rescue operations will yield positive results. May Allah rest their souls in peace,” the message of condolences reads.
