Georgian Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili met with Acting US Ambassador to Georgia Allen Purcell, APA's local bureau reports, citing the Georgian Ministry of Finance.
The meeting discussed cooperation issues and the economic situation in Georgia.
During the conversation, the visit of US State Department Senior Advisor Jonathan Askonas to Georgia to discuss the "Trump route" was touched upon.
The parties discussed transit corridors passing through the region, including the TRIPP project initiated by the US President, as well as the promotion of international trade and Georgia's role in this process.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed on further steps in cooperation.
