Registration for UAV competition continues within TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan

The Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) competition, which will be held as part of the TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan Aerospace and Technology Festival, is aimed at increasing students’ interest in aerospace and unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as developing fundamental flight knowledge and skills, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport told APA

One of the most interesting competitions of the festival is the UAV competition designed for university students.

The tasks assigned to students at the UAV competition will allow them to apply and develop theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of electronics, mechanics and programming.

Under the terms of the competition, teams of successfully registered students can design various types of UAVs. Teams are completely free to determine the mission of the UAVs. The teams will also be able to demonstrate their UAVs to a wide audience during the competition.

It should be noted that along with Azerbaijani students, Turkish youth will also take part in the UAV competition, which is an international event.

The prize fund of the competition is 4,000 AZN for 1st place, 2,000 AZN – for 2nd place, 1,000 AZN – for the 3rd place.

The deadline for applications is 17 February 2022.
