An international tender has been announced for the construction of the Tsnori-Lagodekhi section of the Tbilisi-Bakurtsikhe-Lagodekhi international highway, which extends to the Azerbaijani border in Georgia, APA's local bureau reports, citing the Roads Department of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Georgia.
The road, which will have a total length of 40.4 kilometers, will be two-lane. The project will consist of two parts - the 30.9-kilometer Tsnori-Lagodekhi section and the 9.5-kilometer Lagodekhi bypass.
An 18-month period has been set for the preparation of project documents.
Interested parties must submit their tender proposals no later than February 17 of this year.
