The “German-Azerbaijani Strategic Partnership and Connectivity Conference 2026” is being held today in Baku under the theme “Financing Infrastructure, Green Energy and Digital Connectivity along the Middle Corridor,” APA-Economics reports.
The aim of the conference is to deepen bilateral and regional economic cooperation, as well as to mobilize German and European financing, technology and expertise to support sustainable development in Azerbaijan and the wider region.
The conference brings together government representatives, financial institutions, project owners and business leaders from Germany, Azerbaijan and partner countries.
Investment opportunities will be discussed during the event, and financing opportunities for strategic projects in infrastructure, energy transition and digital connectivity along the Middle Corridor will also be considered.
Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov, Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Azerbaijan Dirk Lölke, as well as official representatives of other institutions, are expected to participate in the event.
