Design work for 20 settlements in the liberated territories is in its final stage, Ramil Jahangirov, Head of Department at the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture, said at an exhibition dedicated to Victory Day, APA reports.
He noted that during this period, the General Plan for the liberated territories, master plans for 8 cities, as well as master plans for the cities of Khankendi, Khojaly, Aghdara, and Khojavand are being developed: "At the same time, project documents for more than 90 villages and settlements have been approved, and design work for 20 settlements is in its final stage.
According to the projects, new residential complexes, educational and healthcare institutions, public catering facilities, museums, and cultural centers are being built in these areas.
Road and street networks, tourism and recreation zones, and industrial parks are being established, while energy-efficient construction and ‘smart’ infrastructure solutions are being implemented.”
