"The Master Plan of Baku has been developed on the model of Vienna," said Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the State Committee of Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan at the presentation ceremony of Baku's Master Plan held at Executive Power of Baku City, APA reports.
"While developing the Master Plan, we took Vienna, Dubai for comparison. We know that a serious infrastructure is being established in Dubai for pedestrian traffic. And Vienna is a city where the public transport is easily used. By thinking and comparing, we took Vienna as an exemplary target," the Committee Chairman added.
