Azerbaijan spent nearly AZN 5 billion on construction in liberated territories last year - LIST

In 2025, a total of 4 billion 911.2 million manats from all financial sources were spent on construction and installation works in the territories liberated from occupation, APA-Economics reports, citing its calculations based on the State Statistical Committee’s report.

It should be noted that during the reporting period, the largest amounts were allocated to the Kalbajar district (994.6 million 11 thousand manats), Aghdam district (740 million manats), and Zangilan district (731 million manats).

Recall that last year, a total of 21 billion 226.1 million manats from all financial sources were directed toward fixed capital investments in Azerbaijan, of which 16 billion 18 million manats were spent on construction and installation works. Thus, during the reporting period, expenditures on construction and installation works in the liberated territories accounted for 30.7% of the total construction and installation spending nationwide.

It should also be added that a total of 4 billion 465.7 million manats has been allocated from the 2025 state budget for the reconstruction and restoration of the territories liberated from occupation.
