ASG Ground Handling, the ground handling operator of Heydar Aliyev International Airport, has been honored with the “Top Agent Award” by China Southern Airlines, one of the largest airlines in Asia and the global aviation market, in recognition of its exemplary service quality and high punctuality in handling the airline’s operations, APA-Economics reports.
The award was presented based on an assessment of ASG Ground Handling’s key operational performance indicators, with particular attention paid to compliance with safety requirements, accuracy in procedural execution, aircraft turnaround time, service timeliness, and the quality of interactions with flight crews.
Founded in 1988, China Southern Airlines is one of the three largest airlines in China, ranks 6th globally by traffic volume, and operates the largest fleet in Asia region, with over 900 aircraft.
The award was handed to Boyukaga Guliyev, Director of ASG Business Aviation LLC, by Zhang Yang, Director of the China Southern Airlines Representative Office in Azerbaijan, who expressed his appreciation for the high professionalism, stable operational performance, and significant contribution of the ASG Ground Handling team to ensuring the reliability of the airline’s international ground operations.
Chairman of the Board of ASG Business Aviation, Teymur Mammadov, emphasized that the success of Azerbaijan’s private aviation services sector has been enabled by the country’s favorable business environment, economic stability, and the state’s priority attention to the development of modern aviation infrastructure.
