ADY and Russian Railways strengthen cooperation with new digital data-sharing deal

A meeting was held between Rovshan Rustamov, Chairman of “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC (ADY), one of “AZCON Holding” companies, and Oleg Belozyorov, Director General and Chairman of the Management Board of “Russian Railways” JSC, APA-Economics reports.

During the meeting, a number of issues were discussed regarding the development of cooperation and strengthening of mutual interaction between the railway administrations of the two countries, increasing the efficiency of routes, and ensuring the safety of transportation processes.

The sides exchanged views on the work carried out in the digitalization of freight transport, including the application of digital solutions, acceleration of information exchange, and optimization of the logistics chain.

At the end of the meeting, an agreement on bilateral electronic exchange of information was signed between “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC and “Russian Railways” JSC. The agreement will fully enable the enhancement of freight transportation efficiency and the implementation of digital document circulation.
