“We ordered 400 000 cards from Ukraine and 100 000 have been delivered. The rest will be dispatched soon,†he noted.
According to him, seasonal inflow of passengers caused shortage in cards.
Per ride in Baku Metro costs 5 kopecks ($0.06) but you need to hire a card for AZN 2 ($2.4) to fill with pass units.
