Baku. Rashad Suleymanov - APA-Economics. A new overpass joining Ziya Bunyadov and Gara Garayev Avenues will open in Baku in late September or early October.
Azerbaijan Road Service, Azeryolservis, said construction work has been completed.
The 3,600-meter complex road system will have 9 bridges and 11 side roads.
The bridges will rest on 80 supporting columns.
Started since March, 2006, construction work is being carried out by Azeri Bridge Construction Company (Azerkorpu).
As part of the overpass complex, the 325-meter long suspension bridge will allow vehicles coming from Heydar Aliyev International Airport to pass over to Gara Garayev Avenue.
