Yadigar Sadigov stands trial

Baku. Aghaddin Babayev – APA. A preliminary hearing on the case of Yadigar Sadigov, an advisor of Musavat Party chairman, has today been held at Lankaran District Court. The process has been presided over by judge Elchin Kazimov.

APA’s south bureau reports that the defendant’s lawyer Khalid Baghirov raised three petitions at the hearing: the replacement of judge, the exclusion of witnesses from the criminal case and the release of Yadigar Sadigov.

The court has rejected all three petitions.

The next hearing has been scheduled for November 12.

Yadigar Sadigov is charged with hooliganism against Rashid Farman Karimov, the 2nd group Garabakh disabled. Criminal case was launched under article 221 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code. Lankaran Region Court has sentenced him to 2-month pretrial detention. Pre-trial investigation has been submitted to Lankaran Region Court.
