# 25 February 2016 09:18 (UTC +04:00)

During the process, the former verdict was cancelled and a new one was issued instead. However, the sentence of Isgandarov remained unchanged.

As for Talibov, the court did issue a new verdict, which is that he must be arrested. As Talibov’s sentence had expired, the court decided to declare a search for him.

Note that, Elman Isgandarov, with his relative Seymur Talibov, Khayal Alizadeh, and others on preliminary arrangement decided to harm Vusal Schilder in order to cause the latter to change his attitude towards his close relative. For this purpose, he chased Vusal for some time. On 2 May 2013, Elman Isgandarov together and his aforementioned companions knifed to death Baku resident Vusal Schilder in the temple, chest and other parts of the body outside apartment 3 B at Rajabli Street, and then escaped. As a result of the urgent investigation carried out by the law-enforcement bodies and prosecuting authorities, Isgandarov was detained on May 4, criminal proceedings were instituted against him, while Khayal Alizadeh was declared wanted as he had evaded from investigation. Isgandarov was charged with articles 120.2.5 (contract killing) and 228.4 (Illegal purchase, selling or carrying of gas weapon, cold steel, including throwing weapon, except for districts where carrying of a cold steel is an accessory of a national suit or connected to hunting), while Seymur Talibov was charged with Article 307.1 (Not informing about known preparing or committed minor serious or serious crimes).

The Baku Court on Grave Crimes Elman Isgandarov was sentenced to 15 years in prison and Seymur Talibov to 2 years. Unsatisfied with the verdict, the prosecutor and the victim’s family appealed to the Baku Court of Appeal.
