Interrogator of Investigation and Research Department of the Main State Traffic Police Office Karim Mammadov told APA’s West bureau that the accident happened in Konullu village of Shamkir region, 374 km from Baku-Gazakh highway yesterday at 22:30.
“QAZel” driven by 54-year old Ragif Huseynov collided by “Mercedes Vito” driven by 22-year old Muras Sadigov. Huseynov died on the spot. Four passengers of “Mercedes Vito” were taken to Shamkir Region Central Hospital with various bodily injures. One of them is reportedly in a critical condition.
Interrogator Mammadov said that the accident happened as “QAZel” suddenly appeared on the highway. Investigation and Research Department of the Main State Traffic Police Office has launched an investigation into the fact.
