Turkish Armed Forces General Staff Chief starts official visit to Azerbaijan - <span style="color: red;">PHOTOSESSION

The Turkish delegation visited Heydar Aliyev’s grave in the Alley of Honor, as well as the Alley of Martyrs.

Following this, the guests visited the Turkish Martyrdom Monument. Necdet Ozel wrote down his cordial words in the memory book:

“Heroes of the great Turkic nation, you came to Azerbaijan without stanching your wounds from the World War I. You battled from Ganja to Baku and played a role in the establishment of Azerbaijan Republic. You wrote this heroism in history. Rest in peace in the shade of the two countries’ flags. Your memory will be eternal.”

Afterwards, Army General Necdet Ozel went to the Defense Ministry. A guard of honor was lined up in honor of the guest at the ministry. Necdet Ozel was welcomed by Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov. The national anthems of both countries were sounded during the welcome ceremony.

Following this, a meeting was held at the Defense Ministry.
