Tural Atayevâ€™s father: â€œI heard Tural was wounded, but Iâ€™m unaware of his deathâ€ - <span style="color: red;">EXCLUSIVE

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. “We are unaware of Tural’s death”, Balaken citizen Tural Atayev’s father Murtuzali Atayev told APA.

Atayev said that his son left home 3-4 years ago and they did not contact with him: “Tural was studying at a college in Baku. He left home under the pretext of classes some years ago, later we heard he was in Dagestan. I heard Tural was wounded, but I’m unaware of his death”.

Atayev noted he did not know when his son joined radical groups: “How could we know who he contacts with? We sent him to Baku to study, thereafter he was in Dagestan”.

One of the private houses was blocked by Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) and Interior Ministry special forces in the Pervomayskoye village in Dagestan’s Khasavyurt District. The members of illegal armed units were told to lay down arms, but they opened fire from automatic weapons on law enforcers.

All five were “neutralized” during the special operation. They were identified, including the head of so-called Khasavyurt gang, Tural Atayev born in 1988, an Azeri national, who was one of the organizers of a terrorist attack in the city of Pyatigorsk in December.

Weapons and ammunition were discovered on the site of the clash. No civilians were injured.

Atayev Tural Murtuzali was born in Mahamala village of Balaken region in 1988. He joined radical religious groups and left Azerbaijan several years ago. Tural Atayev was known among the members of gang as Yahya.
