APA reports quoting the Ministry’s website that 18 cases of explosion occurred in the Republic in 9 months of 2013, up by four cases or 29% compared to 2012. As a result of the explosions, 4 persons died and 17 were injured.
7,208 visits were made to extinguish fire on various calls during 9 months. As a result of the fires, 45 persons died and 57 were injured. Compared to 2012, fatality rate is up by 1 person (2%) and injury rate is down by 5 (8%).
7,333 natural and man-made disasters were recorded this year, up 683 disasters or 10% from previous year. As a result of the disasters, 56 people died and 81 were injured.
6 people were saved and 63 evacuated by the ministry’s rescuers.
