Pakistani citizen sentenced over killing of Indian citizen in Azerbaijan

APA reports that a judgment has been passed at the hearing. Bashiri has been sentenced to 15-year imprisonment.

42-year-old Indian citizen Binnud Khumar Chadri living in Najafgulu Rafiyev Street of Khatai district was tortured to death on March 9. His common law wife called the hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations as she found the door closed and was concerned about the husband. Following this, the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations came to the site and broke the door and entered the house. They found out the body of Indian citizen under the bed. The law enforcement officers’ investigation revealed that the man had been beaten to death and exposed to electric current.

As a result of the measures, Pakistani citizen Ali Abid suspected of murder has been detained in Absheron district.
