At about 4:00pm Jan.25, a brawl erupted between two customers of a filling station in Baku’s Tbilisi avenue and a security guard of the station. Then the two men who are said to be sportsmen fled the scene after beating the security guard.
As a result of police operations, two men – Mahir Isgandarov and Isa Azizov who are suspected of beating security Sadig Baghirov, guard of the filling station, were detained. A preventive measure in the form of 30-day administrative arrest was chosen against them.
Isa Azizov is a relative of Lt Gen Maharram Aliyev, head of the Department of defense issues in the Service of the Assistant to the Azerbaijani President on Defense issues.
