Arab tourists injured in Azerbaijan bus crash identified - <span style="color: red;">UPDATED

Shamakhi. Elvin Yagubov – APA. Seven people were injured after a bus carrying Arab tourists from Gabala to Baku overturned in Shamakhi district on Monday evening.

 

The injured include Iraqi citizens—Fatima Jasim  (1960), Umar (1969), Hussein (1961), Abbas Yusuf (1976), Rawai Asir and Ahmad—as well as the driver’s underage child, Baku resident Rustamov Rufat Ahmad oglu were admitted to the Shamakhi District Central Hospital with injuries of varying severity, APA’s local bureau reported.  

 

The injured were sent to Baku after first aid was provided to them.

 

The seven other tourists were also examined by doctors although they were not hurt.

 

An investigation is underway in connection with the accident.

Baku. Shahriyar Alizade – APA. A bus with a few Arab tourists among the passengers collided with a truck in Shamakhi district, Azerbaijan, on Aug. 29 evening, the Baku state traffic police office told APA.

 

Three were injured of the 16 people on board. The injured received medical aid.

 

An investigation is underway in connection with the accident.
