The 39-year-old suspect, Ruhi Allahverdiyev, was detained in a joint operation conducted by police and prosecuting officers, Baku’s Narimanov district police office told APA.
Further investigations discovered that Ruhi had been working in the victims’ house. They are said to have had disputes over a matter of money several times and that is believed to be the reason behind the incident.
Note that, Baku residents Maharramova Janna Hanifayevna (1949) and Maharramov Aleksandr Gennadiyevich (1982) had been found dead in their home, with marks on their heads possibly inflicted with a blunt instrument.
Aleksandr Maharramov was the director of Business Dialogue, a company offering business consulting service. He was also the founder of the website business-dialogue.az.
