According to him, today, some Russian media outlets report that Orkhan Zeynalov, who is suspected of killing Moscow resident Yegor Sherbakov by Russian law-enforcement agencies, is wanted in Azerbaijan, too: “However, in fact, Azerbaijani Interior Ministry has not declared Orkhan Zeynalov wanted and he had no imprisonment in Azerbaijan. Russian law-enforcement agencies have not sent a questionnaire to Azerbaijani Interior Ministry about him. If such questionnaire is received by the Ministry, it will be considered relevantly“.
Sherbakov’s murder caused mass incidents in Western Brulyevo region. Moscow police chief Anatoly Yakunin said that Orkhan Zeynalov, who is suspected of killing Moscow resident Yegor Sherbakov, is also wanted in Azerbaijan over murder.
