Baku – APA. A Russian deputy of Azerbaijani origin could face 15 years in prison over giving bribe to an official, RIA Novosti reported.

A criminal case was launched against Sarraf Mammadov, a deputy of the Ivanovo Oblast Duma, who is accused of giving bribe to Vyacheslav Sverchkov, deputy speaker of the Ivanovo Oblast Duma, who is also charged under the relevant article of the Russian Criminal Code.
