Gusar. Vali Turan – APA. Today an armed attack took place in Gusar region of Azerbaijan. Some details of the incident have been released, APA’s correspondent in the incident place reports.
Police has got information on return of the wanted person to the region and visiting the house, where the suspect was hiding, police officers did not find the suspect alone but with several armed persons. An armed group have attacked police unexpectedly. As a result of the incident police Major Galib Guliyev has died, other 3 policemen Movlud Aliyev, Jamil Nasirov, and Deputy Head of the Gusar Regional Police Department on Operations injured and were taken to Gusar Region Central Hospital.
APA’s correspondent informed that no one of the attackers was rendered harmless. All of them are on loose.
Investigation has been launched on the issue.
Gusar police continue operations to capture escaped armed attackers. Police posts were set up in all the entrances to and exits from the region.

Baku-APA. An armed attack was organized against police in Gusar region, Azerbaijan. The attack was committed by unidentified person, Gusar Region Police department told APA’s North bureau. Policeman Galib Guliyev died of injures, other 3 policemen Movlud Aliyev, Jamil Nasirov and Deputy head of Gusar Region Police Department on Operations Mahammad Ibrahimov were wounded.
The person committed armed incident was rendered harmless.
APA has revealed that the person, committed armed attack was a member of the radical religious group.
The details of the incident are under investigation.
