8 people were detained in an anti-gambling raid in Nar café in Baku on Oct.11, ministry spokesperson Orkhan Mansurzadeh told APA on Monday.
Administrative protocols were drawn up against them and submitted to court for consideration, the spokesperson said.
Some media outlets reported earlier that the police had held a raid in Nar café owned by MP Elton Mammadov’s son Aynar Mammadov, who is also an employee of the Milli Mejis Apparatus. According to reports, a number of people including Aynar Mammadov were detained and taken to the Main Department for Combating Organized Crime.
