2 killed, 3 injured in traffic accident in Baku - <span style="color: red;">PHOTOSESSION

Baku. Mahir Mammadli-APA. On May 10, at least 2 people were killed, 3 injured, after a car crash on Heydar Aliyev Avenue. “VAZ 2107”, driven by Tural Rahimov in the direction of Airport highway, suddenly turned in the opposite direction and collided with "Lexus", driven by Firdovsi Aliyev,53.

As a result of an accident, two passengers of VAZ-2107 were killed, drivers of both cars T.Ragimov and F. Aliyev and his spouse Arifa Aliyeva received serious injuries.

Tural Rahimov’s relatives told APA that, his car was pursued by police and traffic police closed road near “Koroghlu” metro station, as he turned his car in opposite direction.

Nizami District Police Office told APA that allegations of pursuit are investigated. According to the preliminary version, the driver of VAZ-2107 was a car bully.

According to City Clinical Hospital #3, Tural Rahimov’s condition is critical and he is under surgery. Identities of the victims are being clarified.
