The fire that started yesterday evening in the territories of Aghdam and Aghdara districts is still ongoing, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports from the scene.
Unexploded ordnances (UXO) have been found in the areas affected by the fire.
The presence of mines and unexploded ordnance in the area complicates firefighting efforts and poses significant danger to firefighters.
Note that a fire broke out yesterday evening in open areas near the villages of Aliaghali and Yeni Garalar in Aghdam district, and the village of Sirkhavand in Aghdara district.
Forces of the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have been deployed to the scene.
Firefighting efforts continued throughout the night.
Operations to contain the blaze are currently ongoing.
