The Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency is investigating the poisoning incident that occurred during a wedding ceremony at the Gunesh wedding venue in Kurdamir district, the agency told APA in response to an inquiry.
The agency said relevant measures are being taken to determine the causes of the incident.
Additional information will be provided to the public following the results of the investigation.

A total of 91 people were hospitalized at the Kurdamir District Central Hospital at around 8:50 p.m. yesterday over suspected poisoning, TABIB told APA.
All of them received the necessary medical care.
Those whose condition was assessed as satisfactory were discharged for outpatient treatment.

Following a wedding ceremony held at the venue, 50 people sought medical attention at the Kurdamir District Central Hospital.
The condition of the affected individuals is assessed as moderate to severe.
