Baku. Hafiz Heydarov - APA. The results of the examination on the fragment related to businessman Arzu Kazimov seen on the video released by former rector of Azerbaijan International University Elshad Abdullayev have been made public, Kazimov’s lawyer Ramiz Zeynalov told APA.
According to him, two days ago the inspector went to Baku detention facility and declared the results of the examination. According to the expert judgment, the video was not counterfeit.
Zeynalov did not give additional information about the investigation, said a press conference will be held regarding the criminal case.
Arzu Kazimov was detained last November. According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, Huseyn Vaqif Abdulhuseyn, Agayev Nariman Salman and Kazimov Arzu Firudin faced charges under article 178.3.2 (swindling) of the Criminal Code and were detained over the criminal acts on the case investigated by the Prosecutor General’s Office regarding missing Mahir Abdullayev and other facts.
They were detained not directly over missing Mahir Abdullayev, but over swindling Elshad Abdullayev.
