Official information issued on suicide in Ganja

The information reads: “On May 1, around 02:00 pm, the information received on suicide by detonating a hand grenade at the building under construction near Kamran Mammadov’s house in Ganja”, APA rpeorts.

Ganja city Prosecutor’s office and Main Police department’s group of officers have examined incident place and have found the detonated grenade’s parts and 22 bullets of automatic machine. The body has been taken to forensic examination.

Criminal case has been launched on the articles 125 (Bringing to suicide) and 228.1(Illegal purchase, transfer, selling, storage, transportation or carrying of fire-arms, accessories to it, supplies and explosives)

Necessary criminal investigation measures continue.

A terrible suicide was recorded in Ganja.

Ganja city Prosecutor’s Office told APA’s western bureau that 22-year old Ganja resident Kamran Mammadov committed suicide at 15:00.

As law enforcement officials inspected the scene, it was revealed that Mammadov killed himself detonating a hand grenade.

The criminal case has been launched on the fact, investigation is underway.
