Scientific Secretary of the ANAS Presidium Sarkhan Abbasoghlu told APA that the building of the Ministry of National Security’s Center for Strategic Studies in Huseyn Javid avenue 33, will be moved in late this month. The ANAS Presidium has been passed a decision on it. According to the decision, the ANAS Radiation Problems Institute and Shamakhy Astrophysical Observatory named after N.Tusi will be moved to that building.
The Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics located in the building of ANAS Institute of Information Technologies will be moved to the building of the Radiation Problems Institute.
The other non-academic institutions in the “Academy settlement” are the State Register Service and Baku branch of Moscow State University. According to the President’s order in 2011, all non-academic institutions in the “Academy settlement” must be removed.
