Spokesman for the State Traffic Police Department of the Republic of Azerbaijan Azer Hasanov told APA’s western bureau that the accident occurred in Agkoynek village of Gazakh Region.
VAZ-2106 driven by 31-year-old Ibrahim Ibrahimzade collided with Suzuki.
As a result of the accident, passengers in VAZ-2106 Mahmud Nasibov, Gurban Garagozov, Afshan Garagozova and Leyla Ibrahimzade were injured.
Ibrahimzade died on the way to hospital.
According to initial reports, Ibrahimzade, who was returning from a wedding party, was drunk.
Investigation on the fact is underway.
