Baku. Hafiz Heydarov - APA. The representatives of Azerbaijani Prosecutor General’s Office and Interior Ministry have been sent to Turkey. Spokesman for Prosecutor General’s Office Eldat Sultanov told APA that Sevinj Babayeva wanted under article 178.3.2 of the Criminal Code died at “Medicana International Ä°stanbul Hospital”, Turkey.
Representatives of Istanbul prosecutor’s office examined the body in the presence of Azerbaijani Consul General to Istanbul Hasan Zeynalov and Sevinj Babayeva’s relatives, determined that it was Sevinj Babayeva.
According to preliminary information given by the hospital, Babayeva, who was admitted to the hospital with the different ID, died from heart failure.
Azerbaijani General Prosecutor appeal the Turkish Justice Ministry through the Azerbaijani Justice Ministry and raised the issue on the participation of the Azerbaijani law-enforcement bodies in examination process and for this reason, the employees of the Azerbaijani Prosecutor’s Office and Interior Ministry were sent to the Republic of Turkey.
The public will be given additional information after the results of the investigation and examination.
