10 people on board the crashed AZAL plane were residents of Azerbaijan's Balakan district.
7 of them died and 3 were injured.
The deceased were Tutunchuyev Mahmud Muhuma, a resident of Gullar village in Balakan district, Angubazova Maleyka Murtuzali, a resident of Meshashambul village, Gistarov Ibrahim Abbas, Gistarov Rashid Abbas, residents of Sharif village, Hamzat Muhuma, Khalayeva Hafisat Huseyn, and Omarova Leyla Vagif, a resident of Mahamalar village.
The injured were Dervishov Amir Tofig, Dervishov Tofig Ramazan, and Shabanova Vafa Juma.
Note that an Azerbaijan Airlines aircraft performing flight J2-8243 from Baku to Grozny, an Embraer 190 airplane, crashed 3 km near the city of Aktau. There were 67 passengers and 5 crew members on board.
